Great news, The Snake fans: everyone’s favorite couple is still going strong! MacLaine Funsch revealed she and Jack Micco are currently in a relationship after shooting the FOX reality competition, and they’ve even put official labels on it!
“Come with me to go see my long-distance boyfriend in Austin!” said the Indianapolis Colts cheerleader in a new video on August 22, which shows her getting on a plane and then spending time with Micco. Though fans could only spy a corner of his face, the non-profit director is indeed from Austin, TX, and his identity was double confirmed by the presence of his two family pups in Funsch’s video.

Spoilers Ahead: Jack Micco and MacLaine Funsch’s Fate on ‘The Snake’
Though The Snake is all about deceit, Micco and Funsch immediately hit it off in a romantic way. Though they originally tried to play it cool, they couldn’t resist getting cozy, eventually earning the title of “Mr. and Mrs. Snake” from the other contestants. Micco even invited Funsch to spend the night alone with him in the Snake Lair when he became the Secret Snake in episode 8.
“It was just nice to have like a moment alone with this man,” Funsch said after their evening together. “I think a lot of our relationship kind of paused because we were so afraid of putting a bigger target on our backs that we always had to hide and not look at each other and play the game a little differently, and this allowed us to just talk.”
Unfortunately, their on-screen love story came to an end when Funsch was sent home in episode 9, just before the finale. Micco snuck away to give her a hug before she left, saying, “I think your pitch was the best, I would have saved you! I’ll take them all down, then I’ll catch you back in Texas.”
“My relationship with Jack actually helped me a lot with this game,” said Funsch on her way out. “It definitely stings leaving when $100,000 is literally a week away, but my heart is like exploding into a million pieces because if I get sent home, that’s fine, but at least I got a boyfriend out of this! Woo!”
