Fans Are Basically Certain This Athlete Will Be on 'DWTS': 'This All But Confirms It'

Fans are becoming more and more convinced that Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson may be making his way to the Dancing with the Stars.

Following an epic performance by DTWS duo Derek Hough and Hayley Ebert on Friday night, that featured Olson at a Savannah Bananas game, fans were certain that the exhibition baseball player will be making his way to the ballroom.

“Is this a soft launch for Jackson on dancing with the stars soon,” one commenter speculated.

“OMG…Jackson is about to be on DWTS,” said another.

“@jacksonolson_ on DWTS next season,” another fan campaigned.

“Does this mean Jackson can be on the next season of DWTS please!” another said.

Olson, for his part, didn’t add to any discussion online, but just commented a mirrorball emoji on the post.

However, another hopeful fan noted that this isn’t the first time the athlete has talked about the ballroom competition show before.

“Jackson said on a podcast he would find out if he was on DWTS or not by the end of December. This all but confirms it,” they said.

While it’s unclear which podcast the fan was referring to, Olson chatted about DWTS on Ali Feller’s podcast, ‘Ali on the Run,’ in December. And although he didn’t say as to whether he’d be interested, he didn’t say no either.

“That’s the thing that I didn’t want to talk about,” he said. “We’ll see what happens with that.”

But when pressed about who he’d like to be partnered with he was ready with an answer.

“I think I would get along with Rylee [Arnold] because I’ve seen her videos, but I don’t really have a specific [preference],” he said. “Whoever they would give me I’d be really cool with.”

Olson also prompted speculation around the same time as the podcast, that he’d be competing on the show as he said in a December TikTok video that he’d be interested in participating.
