Country music fans have something to celebrate today.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Oct. 1, Rascal Flatts made a huge announcement: The band is hitting the road again, launching the “Life Is a Highway” tour in February 2025.
“It’s hard to believe that 2025 will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts… and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of all of YOU who have given us so much!” the post’s caption read.
“Tickets for the Life Is A Highway Tour featuring @LaurenAlaina and @iamchrislane go on sale this Friday, October 4, at 10AM local time!”

The “Life Is a Highway” tour—named after the group’s 2006 hit song—will include 21 dates across the country, starting in Evansville, Indiana, on February 13 and wrapping up in Jacksonville , Florida on April 5. Country singers Chris Lane and Lauren Alaina, a runner-up on American Idol Season 10, are billed as special guests.
Rascal Flatts’ bass player, Jay DeMarcus, made headlines in March 2024 when he praised Taylor Swift’s work ethic (Swift opened up for Rascal Flatts after the release of her debut album).
“There was something intangible about her, and watching her from the side of the stage, that you can’t describe until you witness it,” he said on an episode of Rob Riggle’s Riggle’s Picks podcast.
“She had a drive and a tenacity that you don’t find in very many people,” he added.
