Nobody panic, but we’re long overdue for a new collection of Trader Joe’s bags, and we can’t be the only ones getting antsy. Is anyone else hyperventilating?! Sure, the bags aren’t the only reason we breeze through TJ’s doors, but it’s an added bonus that the shopping experience wouldn’t be complete without. From full-sized options with intricate designs (see: The Art of Trader Joe’s for a creative deep dive) to miniature options that simply support in serving lewks, Trader Joe’s has effectively perfected the art of the tote bag.

As iconic as all their tote bag choices are, though, the mini ones have had us in a proverbial chokehold since their feverish launch, and we still haven’t been able to recover. These dainty little beauties crafted out of canvas are the perfect complement to our Sunday grocery fit or a cutesy gift for the little ones in our lives who want to be just like us. Best of all, they’re the perfect size to carry the sole tomato we stopped into TJ’s for—obviously. Who are we kidding? We can never walk out of Trader Joe’s with more than a cart full, but you get the gist.

As you can see, we’re chomping at the bit for a new tote bag (preferably mini), and according to @traderjoesobessed, we might not have to wait too much longer. Finally, word on the street is that Trader Joe’s incredibly viral mini bags that sold out almost instantly are set to return with a cutesy new pastel refresh just in time for spring. The bags, set to launch this April, will reportedly come in pink, blue, purple and green colorways with a pastel TJ’s logo etched along the front. Each bag is big enough to carry a handful of items, but as mentioned above, this one is more for the aesthetics than anything.

The earth-shattering news wasn’t lost on fans who are probably already camping out at stores to grab one. “Looks like I need to buy camping gear cause I’ll be in that line before sunrise 🤩” Another fan even shared another way to use these by saying, “These will make great bags for Easter gifts.” Either way, we’ll take one in every color. If we can get our hands on one, that is.
