Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over Keith Urban's Taylor Swift Cover

Keith Urban paid tribute to Taylor Swift during a recent gig, and fans of the ‘Karma’ songstress are losing their minds over the moment. 

The “amazing” cover of “Anti-Hero” came while the “One Too Many” singer was headlining Milwaukee’s Summerfest on Saturday, June 29, putting a country spin on the popular Midnights track as he used it to intro his own song “Somebody Like You.”  

In a video clip uploaded to TikTok by a fan named Zoe, the Australian musician belted out the chorus, using his iconic twang on the final word as he transitioned into a guitar riff that led into his own song, much to the crowd’s delight.  

One fan, who got to see this snippet live at a concert last summer, said they “lost [their] mind” when Swift’s lyrics came out of his mouth, while another recalled him once covering the title track off of her seventh studio album Lover at the Washington state fair. “It was amazing!!” they added. 

“He was amazing in Milwaukee!” another agreed. “The entire show was fantastic ❤️❤️.”

A third fan felt exactly the same, writing, “I love that man. He always puts on an amazing show.”

Others couldn’t believe the mashup, with one writing, “Anti hero x somebody like you omgggggg,” and another replying, “And right into Somebody Like You 😍😍😍😍.”

One fan even recalled Swift’s early career, where she opened up for Urban on his Escape the World tour—and hysterically took a moment to prank him in the process. She’s come a long way, to Urban, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, Gracie McGraw, Counting Crows, and even the military band at Buckingham Palace covering her music.
