According to SodaSeekers’ post, Pepsi will be releasing a Wild Cherry & Cream flavor in January 2025. The soda company is also expected to launch a zero sugar version of its newest flavor.

While a photo posted on the picture sharing platform showed the new sodas in 12-ounce cans, SodaSeekers noted that it was too early to say whether the beverages will also be available in other sizes or containers. Details regarding exactly when or where the new drinks will be released were not available at the time of Saturday’s post.

Fans seemed thrilled by the news of the forthcoming flavor, with one writing, “Now that looks good,” as another cheered, “Yesssssssss.”

The new flavor looks like “Heaven,” one Instagram user declared.

“Im salivating,” another Pepsi fan said.

Though most people seemed excited to test out the Wild Cherry & Cream soda, some didn’t appear to be as convinced that the new flavor would be worth trying.

“I hate cream sodas😒,” one person shared on Instagram.

“Why don’t they launch their vanilla again,” another person bemoaned.

News of the early 2025 release came shortly after Pepsi announced that it was partnering with Diageo, the company that makes Captain Morgan rum, to release an alcohol-soda blend comprised of Pepsi Max and Captain Morgan’s Original Spiced Gold rum. Though the news thrilled many of Pepsi’s adult fans, some were frustrated to learn that the beverage was only slated for release in the United Kingdom.
