Dylan Dreyer’s husband is earning points with fans after the Today show co-host shared a video showcasing his artistic talents.
One of the things fans seem to love most about Dreyer and her family is how relatable they are, a feeling that was further supported by their latest family video. The clip, which Dreyer posted on Instagram on Saturday, Sept. 14, showed Dreyer and her husband, Brian Fichera, spending time with their kids at home over the weekend.
It was clear from the start that the mother of three was having trouble controlling her laughter. Between hiccuping giggles, Dreyer asked Fichera if he could put a picture he’d drawn on display for her camera. In the background, the oldest of their three sons, 7-year-old Calvin, was quick to enthusiastically dub the drawing “the best picture in the world!”
“Thank you,” Fichera graciously told his son before asking his wife, “What do you want to know about it?”
Between bursts of laughter, Dreyer was able to voice her first question. “What’s with the window?” she asked.
Fichera looked down at the outline he’d drawn of a house, which featured one lone window connected to the right wall of the home. “I don’t see any problem with the window,” he answered.
“And why is it, like, the height of summer, but the fire’s going?” Dreyer asked next, still laughing as she pointed at curls of smoke that Fichera had drawn rising from the chimney.
“They’re cooking,” he explained. “On the stove.”
The NBC meteorologist next turned her attention to the tree her husband had drawn off to the left side of the house. In the middle of the trunk, Fichera had drawn a large black hole. “Have you ever seen a tree with a hole?” she asked.
“Yes,” he insisted before turning to Oliver, their second oldest son at 4. “Ollie? What’s this?”

“A bird hole,” Oliver answered.
“An owl hole,” Calvin corrected.
Fans loved the way Dreyer couldn’t quite control her laughter throughout the sweet family video. “Dylans laughing had me laughing so much!! 🤣🤣😂😂🥰,” one fan wrote as another declared Dreyer’s “laughing makes my day.”
“Dylan I love your giggle and fun personality! You and Brian are fun parents ☺️,” an Instagram user commented.
Several fans also wrote in to assure Fichera that his drawing skills reminded them of their own.
“LOVE it! I draw EXACTLY the same!! What’s wrong with a tree having a hole😂great job,” one fan shared.
“I totally draw my trees with that hole!! 😂 I always said it was for squirrels but same trees!! 🤣🤣,” another fan laughed.
“This is how i draw too! Stuck in 2nd grade 😂😂,” one person commented while another boldly declared that Fichera’s art “could land in a museum somewhere.”
“Omg… that is exactly how I would draw a house today and I’m 48,” another fan wrote.
