Lainey Wilson has another major accolade to add to her ever-growing list of accomplishments, as the country star shared that she will be hosting this year’s CMA Awards alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan

The Country Music Association, Wilson and more posted about the exciting news on social media, with the caption reading, “Hang Tight Honey! @LukeBryan, @PeytonManning AND @LaineyWilson are hosting The 58th Annual #CMAawards!”

“Get ready for this trio to celebrate Country Music’s BIGGEST Night LIVE from Music City on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 8/7c on @ABC! 🤩,” it continued.

Along with a new poster showing Wilson sitting on a large “M” with Manning and Bryan standing on either side of her, a fun video promoting the show and the announcement was also included.

In the clip, Bryan and Manning drove in a red convertible, singing along to Wilson’s song “Hang Tight Honey,” when Wilson popped up, shocking Bryan and Manning.

“I’m coming with y’all!” announced Wilson. “I ain’t tryin’ to kill your vibe, but I think I could bring something to the CMA Awards that you ain’t never had before…Like humor. Like personality. Like style. A little bell bottom flare.”

“I guess we do need you, Lainey,” declared Bryan, officially welcoming Wilson to the crew. 

Fans were hyped up about Wilson’s big news, sharing how much they were looking forward to seeing her host the awards show. 

“The excitement is next level!!!” wrote one fan, as more said, “THIS IS GONNA BE GOOD 🔥,” “These 3 will be epic together 👏👏,” and “omg obsessed with this trio 😍.”

“Well this will be FUN!!! 👏🏼👏🏼,” another chimed in, while someone else declared the group, “The trio we never knew we needed.”

Wilson is also nominated for four awards at this year’s event, including Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year for “Watermelon Moonshine,” Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” 

The CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 20.
