It sounds like Kate Middleton has a special gift for royal fans this holiday season.
As the Princess of Wales gets back into the swing of public life following her recent battle with an undisclosed form of cancer, she is reportedly already looking ahead to Christmastime festivities.
According to Hello!, Middleton is said to have attended a meeting at Windsor Castle this week to discuss plans for her annual Christmas carol service, seemingly confirming that the holiday concert will once again be taking place this year, despite the tumultuous last several months the royals have had.
“The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held a Meeting at Windsor Castle,” the report noted.
Hello! confirmed that the event will take place later this year at Westminster Abbey, marking Middleton’s fourth time hosting the festive concert. The event will also be televised on ITV on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
On X (formerly Twitter), fans expressed excitement for the upcoming function, with one user writing, “It’s been a great event every year, nice to hear the Princess of Wales will host it again this year.”
During last year’s event, Middleton was joined by her husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. It was one of the princess’ last public appearances before she underwent surgery in January, later leading to a frenzy of questions and concerns about her wellbeing.
Middleton, 42, revealed in March that she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer, and that she would be taking a break from her royal work to focus on her health while she underwent chemotherapy treatment.
It wasn’t until earlier this month that Middleton announced in a touching video that she has completed her cancer treatments and will now be easing back into public life.
