Selena Gomez fans are feeling a little confused and “uncomfortable” after the actress was spotted dancing closely with a man other than her beau, Benny Blanco.
The Only Murders in the Building star and some of her besties hit the town last night, Sunday, Sept. 29, to see fellow Disney alum Sabrina Carpenter perform at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, with her Emilia Pérez co-star Édgar Ramírez in tow.
In a new video from the night circulating online, Ramirez can be seen with his arms wrapped around Gomez from behind, with the two swaying closely to “Espresso” as the actress sings along to the words, “I got this one boy, and he won’t stop calling.”
The clip comes from a TikTok video uploaded by the actress’ BFF, model Connar Franklin Carpenter and began making the rounds on X not long after the conclusion of the concert, showing the pair dancing a “bit intimate[ly]” for some viewers’ comfort.

“That’s bit intimate it seems 😶,” one reply read, while another viewer said, “Um ok I’m not judging I’m not judging.”
“This made me feel uncomfortable 😭😭,” another admitted, while someone questioned, “In a scale of one to olivia pope x fitz work romance how do you rate this omg 😭,” referencing the relationship on Shonda Rhimes‘ Scandal.
“Thatsssssssssss not Benny lol,” another reply said, while someone else declared, “this is messy as hell what is going on 😭😭.”
To be fair, before Ramirez and Gomez began dancing, he was also seen dancing closely with another friend, Ariel Taylor, in the full video. Gomez also shared a video of her dancing alone to “Juno,” tagging Blanco in the caption, but many still questioned if their relationship was intact or on the rocks.
