The final phase of Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal’s multi-year property-wide renovation has been completed, encompassing all guest accommodations and key public spaces.
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal has completed the final phase of its multi-year property-wide transformation, updating all 112 guest accommodations and several public spaces.
All guest rooms, suites, beachfront suites, the presidential beachfront suite, casitas, and villas have been redesigned with a lighter, neutral color palette and new in-room bars. Each room features a handcrafted metallic sea turtle shell by Preciado Iluminacion. The design was led by Paul Duesing, with custom work from artisans in Oaxaca, Baja California Sur, and Jalisco.
Refreshed public spaces include the Beach Club Restaurant, the adult pool, and the Salon at the Waldorf Astoria Spa. The spa now offers a refreshed salon and treatments guided by the four phases of the moon, rooted in traditional Mexican rituals.
The property has expanded its culinary offerings with new permanent features and events. Mar y Leña, a new oceanfront dining option at the Beach Club Palapa, offers a Baja-inspired menu featuring premium cuts grilled over several wood types. Savor the Sea is a daytime ritual at El Farallon’s Champagne Terrace, featuring champagne and local Baja seafood pairings. The Pedregal Collection has added two exclusive Champagnes: a Blanc de Blancs and a Rosé.
A new Sunday Brunch program at the Beach Club Palapa features live DJs, rotating food stations with seafood and grilled dishes, a weekly surprise food station, and specialty coffee from Neutral Coffee Lab.
The Festival of Flavors 2026 series began with an event from February 12-15 in collaboration with Chef Iñaki Aldrey Teruel of Atempo Restaurant in Barcelona. The next event is scheduled for April 30-May 2 with Chef Sheyla Alvarado of Lunario, a two-Michelin-star restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico.
