Hilton has announced plans to introduce its luxury brand, Signia, to Amman, Jordan. The new 272-room property, scheduled to open in January 2025, represents Signia’s first venture outside the United States.
The new Signia by Hilton Amman will be located in the Shmeisani business district, which is conveniently situated to provide easy access to the city’s main transport routes. It is within walking distance of the Al Abdali Mall and Abdali Boulevard, a mixed-use development hosting a variety of shops and offices. The area is home to several international banks, multinational corporations, and NGOs. The hotel is less than a kilometer from the Prince Hashem Bird Garden and the Haya Cultural Center.
The hotel aims to cater to business and leisure travelers, with over 5,000 square meters of flexible meeting space. This includes a state-of-the-art convention center that accommodates up to 3,400 people, thereby positioning Signia by Hilton Amman as a leading destination for meetings and events in the Jordanian capital. The facilities will comprise 20 meeting spaces, ranging from 30 to 1,000 square meters, each equipped with modern technologies and offering personalized service.
The hotel will offer 272 guest rooms and suites, each designed with ample natural light and panoramic views. The rooms will be decked with premium finishes and in-room amenities. Seven dining venues will offer a variety of local and international cuisines. Wellness and leisure facilities will include a state-of-the-art spa, a fully equipped fitness center, and an outdoor pool. Guests staying in club rooms and suites will have exclusive Club Signia experience, including private lounge access, dedicated concierge services, enhanced in-room amenities, and personalized services.
Monther Farah, Managing Director of Al Rabya Hotels, Tourism, and Commercial Centers Co. Ltd, the owning company of Signia by Hilton Amman, expressed pride in partnering with Hilton to bring the first Signia property outside the U.S. to the region.
Once the hotel is operational, it will participate in the Hilton Honors program, Hilton’s award-winning guest-loyalty scheme for its world-class brands. The Signia by Hilton Amman joins Hilton’s expanding brand portfolio in Jordan, which includes Hilton Amman, King Hussein bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton, Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa, and DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba.
