Daft Punk are coming to Fortnite, and they’re bringing along a new in-game experience for fans and players to enjoy.
The Daft Punk experience is a musical event where players will enter a retro-futuristic realm full of the iconic duo’s history. Players will go through multiple rooms that play Daft Punk songs and listen to 31 songs from their discography. Prior to the event, Daft Punk skins and accessories will enter the item shop, so make sure to get in your best Daft Punk attire before joining the event.
Here’s when the Fortnite Daft Punk experience starts, along with how to join the event.
What time does the Fortnite Daft Punk event start?
The Daft Punk experience will start at 2 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Sept. 27, with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. EDT. Here’s when it starts in your timezone:
- 11 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
- 2 p.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- 3 p.m. BRT for Brazil
- 7 p.m. BST for the U.K.
- 8 p.m. CEST for western Europe
- 3 a.m. JST on Sunday, Sept. 28 for Japan
- 4 a.m. AEST on Sunday, Sept. 28 for the east coast of Australia
How to join the Fortnite Daft Punk event
To join the Daft Punk experience, you can either join a Battle Royale game and go to the monolith, which is located on top of the snowy mountains south of Foxy Floodgate, or you can choose the “Daft Punk Experience” tile in the Discover tab to join the event directly.
Your safest bet is most likely through the “Daft Punk Experience” tile as it’s unclear if the area around the monolith will be a designated safe zone or if other players will try to hunt down anyone in the vicinity.
