Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena is now open in the Getsemaní neighborhood, near the UNESCO World Heritage Site Walled City, Camellón de los Mártires, Parque Centenario, and the convention center. The property is the third Four Seasons location in Colombia.

The hotel occupies a collection of restored historic buildings, including the former Club Cartagena, a 1920s landmark. The restoration and design involved Françoise Catroux, WATG, Wimberly Interiors, SBM Interior Design, AvroKO, Enea Garden Design, and Lang Lighting Design. Local artists and artisans, including Alejandro Hernández, Eloin Rivera, Miguel Cárdenas, and Poli Mallarino, contributed to the interiors and furnishings.

The property offers 131 guest accommodations, including 27 colonial-style rooms and suites within heritage buildings. The Catroux Suite, the hotel’s presidential suite, features private elevator access, two bedrooms, a furnished terrace, and a handcrafted ceramic fountain by María Cecilia Franco Berón. Additional rooms and suites are located in contemporary sections of the property. Private Residences designed by Rodriguez Valencia Arquitectos are also available within the hotel.

El Patio del Limonar serves breakfast in an open-air courtyard. El Palmar is a rooftop venue with 360-degree views. Atrio is a lobby lounge set beneath a glass ceiling.

Umari Spa is located in a restored heritage building and features six treatment rooms, a hair salon, nail services, a relaxation lounge, a steam room, and a spa boutique. The spa offers treatments using Colombian botanicals and natural ingredients. The hotel also includes a 24-hour fitness center with gym equipment, personal training, and scheduled yoga and movement sessions. Two rooftop pools provide views of the city and harbor.

Event spaces include the Ballroom de la Veracruz, which can accommodate up to 300 guests and features modern chandeliers and a brick dome with a fresco. The Ballroom Centenario accommodates up to 100 guests and offers views of the Walled City’s clock tower. Additional meeting rooms and outdoor terraces are available for events and gatherings.
