Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris has completed a three-year renovation of all 243 rooms and suites.

Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris has finished a comprehensive renovation project involving all 243 of its rooms and suites. This marks the first complete renovation since the hotel reopened in 1999. The project, which spanned three years, aimed to transform the rooms into spaces resembling private Parisian residences. The renovation was conducted while the hotel remained operational.

The redesign was led by interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, who has been involved in the hotel’s transformations for over two decades. The updated rooms now feature elements such as personal workspaces, curated libraries, and private dining rooms. The design incorporates a blend of classic Louis XVI-style furniture, 19th-century artworks, and contemporary accents.

The renovation also included technological upgrades, with the addition of home automation systems, customizable mood lighting, and advanced audiovisual technology. Select suites now offer views of the Eiffel Tower and other Paris landmarks through newly installed French windows.

The renovation included the creation of signature suites designed to reflect the concept of residential living. These suites, such as the Penthouse Suite and the Parisian Eiffel Suite, have been redesigned to maximize natural light and offer expansive views of the surrounding area. The Penthouse Suite features three private terraces with views of the Eiffel Tower.

The Parisian Eiffel Suite has been designed as a family-friendly apartment, featuring a primary suite and two additional bedrooms. The suite includes a Calacatta Oro marble fireplace and two landscaped terraces.

The Parisian Suite features a more understated aesthetic, emphasizing subtle sophistication. It includes a semi-open library and a living room with restored furnishings. The bathroom features Carrara marble and Baccarat crystal fittings.

The project was part of a broader strategy to maintain the hotel’s position in the international hospitality market. Over the past ten years, the hotel has introduced two Michelin-starred restaurants and launched a spa. It has also received international certification for its environmental performance.
