Fresca is ready to play hard ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and score big with fans all summer long.
Introduced earlier this week as a “crisp” new adult beverage, Fresca Hard is “light yet satisfying” without sacrificing flavor. Think it sounds familiar? Well, this isn’t the popular citrus-flavored soft drink’s first foray into the alcohol aisle. It previously launched the ready-to-drink cocktail line, Fresca Mixed Vodka Spritz, and now it’s expanding with a malt-based beverage in four new “bold” and “delicious” flavors.
“Fresca Hard’s launch reflects our continued commitment to delivering amazing tasting beverages while pushing further into the Alcohol Ready-To-Drink category,” Lou Grill, president of Red Tree Beverages (a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, which produces the Fresca brand), shared in a statement, teasing, “Regardless of the score, Fresca Hard is meant for those who love the post-game celebration.”

According to Grill, the new flavored malt beverage brings a “new, exciting option with bold, delicious flavors” to the beverage aisle this summer.

The flavored malt beverage is said to feature the “classic citrus taste of Fresca” with 4.6 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), delivering a “refreshingly full-flavored drink” that contains only 99 calories, 2.1 grams of carbs and zero sugar per 12-ounce can.
It is debuting in Grapefruit Citrus, Pineapple Citrus, Peach Citrus and Watermelon Citrus flavors.

Fresca Hard is expected to be available in the coming weeks, if not already, in 12-pack varieties of 12-ounce cans at stores nationwide, including local beer and liquor retailers and Total Wine (prices may vary).
