FUFU JAPAN has opened its first urban property, FUFU Tokyo Ginza, featuring 34 guest rooms with private gardens and hot spring baths.

FUFU JAPAN has launched its first urban property, FUFU Tokyo Ginza, located at the Ginza 1-chome intersection in Tokyo. The property is directly connected to the Tokyo Metro Ginza-itchome Station, offering convenient access for guests. This marks the ninth location for the brand, which has previously focused on small luxury resorts in more rural settings.

The new property includes 34 guest rooms, each equipped with a private garden and natural hot spring baths. This feature is noted as a rare offering in the central Tokyo area. Room rates start at ¥115,000 (approximately $747) for room-only bookings, with options including breakfast and dinner available at higher rates.

FUFU Tokyo Ginza also houses the rooftop lounge Yusora, which features natural hot-spring footbaths sourced from Atami. The lounge offers a selection of wines and non-alcoholic beverages, providing guests with a space to relax while taking in the city’s views.

Dining options at the property include Japanese Cuisine GINZA GAYU, an 86-seat restaurant that serves a selection of seasonal Japanese dishes. The restaurant offers private dining rooms with city views and traditional seating arrangements. Additionally, the property features SUSHI GINGA, an eight-seat counter offering an omakase dining experience.

The design of FUFU Tokyo Ginza incorporates elements intended to evoke a traditional Japanese garden. Materials such as earthen plaster walls and volcanic stones are used throughout the property. Each guest room garden features flora and trees corresponding to the room’s name.

This opening represents FUFU JAPAN’s expansion into urban areas, adding to its existing locations in Atami, Kawaguchiko, Karuizawa, Kyoto, Hakone, Nara, and Nikko. The brand has been recognized with Michelin Key distinctions for several of its properties.
