Australia is a global leader for business travel, with an estimated spend of AUD 42.7 billion* in 2025. It was the Asia Pacific region’s fifth largest market for business travel and the twelfth largest market in the world according to GBTA’s 2025 Business Travel Index.

GBTA Country Manager for Australia, Derek Sadubin said: “We’re excited to kick-off our Business Travel Forum series across Australia and New Zealand. With geopolitical and trade uncertainty looming large, we feel that now is a critical time to bring business travel professionals together so we can better understand the collective challenges we face and how we can tackle them together.

For both seasoned business travel professionals and those new to the industry, these one-day events will be a prime opportunity to glean new insights and forge relationships with peers and some of the key players shaping the future of the business travel sector.”
