While many are celebrating Taylor Swift and the release of her The Life of a Showgirl album, others are more focused on a special event that turned Hollywood into Stars Hollow.
Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham received a star on the infamous Hollywood Walk of Fame. As Paradereported, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino was on hand to help deliver the honor to Graham.

Lauren Graham Is Surrounded By Her Gilmore Girls Family
It turns out several of Graham’s Gilmore Girls co-stars showed up to see her receive the star. Sherman-Palladino’s husband, and fellow creator of the WB show, Daniel Palladino, was there, too.
Graham’s on-screen mom, Kelly Bishop, who played Emily, didn’t miss the event. In fact, she posed with the Palladinos and Graham at the ceremony.

Yanic Truesdale and Matt Czuchry were also spotted showing their love and support for Graham during her celebration.
Czuchry, of course, played Logan, the wealthy boyfriend of Rory (Alexis Bledel), who butted heads with Lorelai Gilmore many times during the last three seasons of the series. Truesdale played Michel Gerard, Lorelai’s right hand at the inn, who also stressed her out consistently.
Sullivan’s Crossing actor Scott Patterson was also at the ceremony to see his on-screen love interest get her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Patterson played Luke, the diner owner and man who eventually won Lorelai’s heart, on the WB small-town drama.
The actor used Instagram to share a video from the event, revealing it was smiles all around as Patterson posed with Graham in front of her star.
“🥂 Congratulations to Lauren Graham on your Hollywood Walk of Fame Star! According to Just Jared, Graham’s Parenthood daughter, Mae Whitman, her Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist co-star Jane Levy, and former roommate Connie Britton were all there to see her unveil her star on the Walk of Fame.
Bledel was not in attendance, but the mother and daughter duo did reunite recently at the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Lauren Graham Praises Gilmore Girls Fans
At the ceremony, Graham mentioned how Lorelai is still a character who resonates with fans today. That was evident when the crowd erupted in applause at the mention of Gilmore Girls.
“I just want to say a special thank you to the fans of the show, who have been so dedicated and so loving and so enthusiastic and so kind. I’m so moved when come up to me, usually at the airport bathroom, and tell me how much the show has meant to you, and that you’ve shared it with a family member. Maybe passed it along to another generation,” she expressed in a video shared by Variety.
No doubt the show means so much to fans and to Graham, as it changed her life in the same way it changed the career trajectory of so many of the other cast members.
Fans are constantly hoping for more Gilmore Girls in the form of spinoffs or sequels, or even a TV movie, but Graham didn’t address that at all during her speech. She did, however, previously share an idea that could bring the gang back together again.
Graham’s ceremony comes just as Gilmore Girls celebrates its 25th anniversary, with the show officially debuting on Oct. 5, 2000.
