'Golden Bachelor' Alums Sandra Mason and Charles King Spark Romance: 'Just Gonna Leave This Right Here'

They may not have had luck on The Golden Bachelor or Golden Bachelorette, but Sandra Mason and Charles King have finally found someone to accept their roses!

In a joyful turn of events, the two reality stars announced their budding romance via social media this week, with Mason, 76, announcing the news in a bombshell Instagram post.

“I’m just gonna leave THIS right HERE for y’all…🌹+🌹 😊” Mason wrote in the caption of her post on Friday, Jan. 17, which featured a series of smiling photos alongside King, 62. 

Mason, who competed on Gerry Turner‘s season of Golden Bachelor, crossed paths with King while attending the “Men Tell All” episode of Joan Vassos‘ Golden Bachelorette run. (Mason and Vassos were both contestants on Turner’s season.) 

“Sandra and I spent some time together right around New Year’s Eve. We had a really, really great time together,” King told BachelorNation.com on Friday. “The vibe was amazing. Sandra is an incredible woman.” 

King, who said he is particularly enamored with Mason’s “elegant charm and straightforwardness,” also gushed about her being “classy,” “fun” and “funny.” 

Mason seemed to be equally smitten with King, describing him as the “ultimate gentleman” and a “treasure.” 

“Charles is chess, not checkers. It’s so true. He’s so sincere. A lot of men can seem that way and throw on the charm, but he’s not that way, it’s truly who he is,” she said. 

Mason described her special night with King as “one of the best dates I’ve had in a long time,” while also teasing that they even entered the “lip-to-lip zone for a minute.” 

“But a lady doesn’t tell,” she quipped. 

According to the duo, they aren’t sure where to take their relationship from here, as King is gearing up to move to South Africa for a few years for work. 

But, they added, “You never know what the future holds.”
