Grammys 2024 will be hosted in L.A on Feb. 4

Los Angeles –
The Grammy Awards return to Los Angeles on the first Sunday in February.
The Recording Academy has announced several key dates ahead of its 66th annual show celebrating the best of music. CBS will broadcast the main ceremony on February 4 at 8:00 pm ET from the Crypto.com arena and will be streamed live on Paramount+.
There will be some new changes to the ceremony.
Earlier this month, the Recording Academy announced three new Grammy Awards for 2024: Best Pop Dance Recording, Best African Music Performance and Best Alternative Jazz Album. .
They also shared some new voting rules, including new protocols on AI technology. The requirements partly state that “works that do not contain human copyrights are not eligible in any category,” and although songs using AI technology are eligible to participate, The human copyright part must be meaningful.”
Additionally, music creators must make up at least 20 percent of the work to earn an Album of the Year nomination. This would be a reversal of a 2021 rule change that allowed anyone who worked on the album to be nominated.
The number of nominees for the “Big 4” categories (Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Song and Record) has been reduced from ten to eight.
Nominations will be announced on November 10th.
