Accor has rebranded Grand Mercure The Vintage to Peppers Hunter Valley following a comprehensive refurbishment.

Accor has announced the rebranding of Grand Mercure The Vintage to Peppers Hunter Valley after a significant renovation. The property, located in the Hunter Valley, underwent a multi-million dollar refurbishment to update its facilities and offerings.

The hotel, owned by Stevens Group, Accor Vacation Club, and additional owners, now features revamped one, two, and three-bedroom villas. The renovations included updates to lighting, kitchens, furnishings, and overall design to align with a contemporary wine country aesthetic—the refurbishment aimed to enhance the guest experience with updated interiors and amenities.

Peppers Hunter Valley is situated in ‘The Vintage’ precinct, a location known for its vineyards and the Greg Norman-designed golf course. The area is also set to welcome a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and bar, Mezze, which will be located upstairs in the precinct. This addition is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the region’s appeal as a destination for food, wine, and relaxation.

The rebranding marks Peppers’ return to the Hunter Valley, where the brand originally began.

Rooms at Peppers Hunter Valley are available starting at $499 per night.
