Great American Family's Heartwarming 'Tails of Christmas' Pairs Puppies With Veterans

There’s nothing I love more than Christmas movies except Christmas movies with pets—especially those looking for their fur-ever homes. Who doesn’t love puppies and kittens as well as older dogs and cats in holiday movies? The only other thing that could make it better is one that honors military men and women. Great American Family’s Tails of Christmas combines both for a heartwarming story about the healing powers of our four-legged friends.

What is Tails of Christmas about?

Caleb (Eric Guillmette) is injured in the Army and recovers through help from shelter therapy dogs. As a sign of thanks, Caleb returns home to help Amber (Ash Tsai) run the local shelter and, in the process, discovers his feelings for Amber go beyond gratitude.

Meet the cast of Tails of Christmas

Ash Tsai (Amber)

Tsai starred in last year’s Journey to Christmas for Great American Family which happened to be her first major role. She wrote and stars in the upcoming DNA Dad.

Eric Guillmette (Caleb)

Guillmette starred in a variety of shorts and music videos before landing roles on television. He has starred in multiple short-form series including I’m the Rule, The Unwanted Mate, and You Belong with Me.

Tails of Christmas premieres on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family.
