HVS Brokerage & Advisory announced the sale of the 73-key Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Houston – Cypress Station to RS 150 Hospitality LLC on January 16, 2025. The hotel is located at 150 Wagon Point, Houston, Texas. The previous owner of the property, built in 2000, was Door Capital Partners, an Austin-based firm.
Situated along the Interstate 45 frontage/service road, north of Farm-to-Market (FM) 1960 Road, the hotel has a strategic location that provides access to several corporate demand generators. These include City Place mixed-use development, Exxon, HP, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, CEVA Logistics, Richey Business Park, Oil Center Business Park, Schlumberger, ALL STOP! Survival & Safety Training, Vallourec Tube-Alloy Houston, Gulf State Toyota, and MiTek.
In addition to business centers, leisure attractions nearby include The Woodlands Mall, Champions Golf Club, The Woodlands Market Street, Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, Sam Houston Raceway, Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, and Ashton Gardens North Houston. The sale was conducted through the Ten-X auction platform, with over ten registered bidders participating, resulting in a competitive auction environment. The winning bid was an all-cash offer from the local buyer, RS 150 Hospitality LLC, and the deal was closed in just 31 days.
