Supermodel Heidi Klum, 52, and her daughter Leni, 21, are a perfect example of how the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

The dynamic mother-daughter duo didn’t disappoint with their coordinated ensembles on the red carpet on Wednesday when they headed to Venice, Italy, to attend the red carpet event for Paolo Sorrentino‘s film La Grazia during the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. Both sported Intimissimi dresses with sheer bodices and hip cutouts, identified by InStyle. The corset inspirations are ideal for the beauties, who both represent the Italian intimates brand. They were joined by Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton on the red carpet for the film, which follows the President of Italy as he is conflicted about whether he should sign into law a bill legalizing euthanasia, according to a synopsis.

Following in her mom’s modeling footsteps, Leni has made it clear she’s also learned her mother’s wise attitude on taking input from others.

“I always try to remember that no matter what you do, there will always be someone who doesn’t like it,” she told Glamour Germany in an interview translated from German earlier this year. “You simply have no control over it and you can’t focus too much on the negative.”

Are Any of Heidi Klum’s Other Children Modeling?

Leni isn’t the only member of the family to explore the modeling industry. Henry Samuel, 19, made his runway debut in Paris in January, according to PEOPLE. He went on to get a modeling contractwith NEXT Management.

“I’ve grown up around fashion and entertainment, but stepping into this world myself is a whole new experience. I’m grateful to Next Management for this opportunity and excited to learn, grow, and find my own voice in the industry,” he said in an official press release following the news.

But Klum has made it clear that it’s the way he treats others that really impresses her.

“Sometimes someone will come to me and say, ‘I just met your son. He is the kindest, nicest young man.’ That makes me feel good,” she told PEOPLE. “Because no one has to say that.”
