Here’s what’s filming in Metro Vancouver right now

Hollywood North has been buzzing with activity over the past few months, and it shows no signs of slowing down. So if you’re one to keep up with the series that are filming in and around the city – this is for you!

Here’s what’s filming in Metro Vancouver right now.

Yellowjackets – Season 4

With multiple seasons of filming in BC already under its belt, Yellowjackets is slated to make its onscreen return sometime in spring 2025, following the lives of a group of plane crash survivors and how their futures are all interwoven. Starring Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, and Tawny Cypress, the show is currently filming at 3500 Cornett Road – B and in downtown Vancouver (#402 – 1008 Homer Street) until October 24th.

What’s more, the series will be filming on West Pender on Friday, July 5th.

The Last of Us – Season 2

While not currently listed as “in production” just yet – TLOU season 2 will be filmed right here in Vancouver and in the PNW. From downtown Vancouver to Nanaimo, the series has been setting up apocalyptic sets across the province, so stay tuned for more info as it comes!

Invasion – Season 3

Codenamed “Kanji” on CreativeBC, sci-fi thriller series Invasion is filming until September 6th in North Vancouver at 555 Brooksbank Avenue. The character-driven show focuses on the lives of five individuals as Earth is visited by an alien species threatening human existence.

Virgin River – Season 6

This popular BC-shot series focuses on a nurse practitioner’s big move from LA to a remote, northern Californian town, where chaos ensues. New filming locations in Vancouver, Burnaby, and Langley were just added to Netflix in Your Neighbourhood. Locations in Burnaby include Burnaby Mountain Park, Burnaby Art Gallery, Hart House Restaurant, and Deer Lake.

Animal Control – Season 3

A sitcom centred around the lives of animal control workers, Animal Control is filming at 8275 Manitoba Street until August 20th.

Alert – Season 2

Alert is a character-driven series set in the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit. The show follows a police officer who helps people find their loved ones while she searches for her own son, and wraps filming on July 18th (at 4210 Phillips Avenue, Burnaby).
