In Brief: Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) announced that 10 hospitality associations have joined its AI Collective, a nonprofit initiative focused on advancing the adoption of artificial intelligence in the hospitality industry.
Ten hospitality associations have joined the AI Collective, a nonprofit initiative led by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) to advance the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across the hospitality sector. The new members are the American Hotel Lodging Association (AHLA), Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), Boutique Luxury Lodging Association (BLLA), Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), Club Management Association of America (CMAA), Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG), International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE), International Hospitality Information Technology Association (iHITA), and Japan Hospitality Technology Association (JHTA).
These associations expand the AI Collective’s geographic reach and sector diversity, increasing its network of organizations involved in artificial intelligence within the hospitality industry. The AI Collective brings together hospitality organizations to collaborate on advancing AI, share knowledge and best practices, and encourage the responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
The AI Collective aims to create a unified industry pathway for AI innovation and implementation, involving operators, educators, owners, and technology professionals. With the addition of these ten associations, the AI Collective now includes representation from hotel ownership, club management, hospitality education, and international technology communities.
The AI Collective serves as a forum for industry stakeholders to align on standards, share insights, and develop AI implementation strategies.
