Hilton and mental health company Calm have announced a new partnership to meet consumers’ rising demand for wellness offerings. Starting in March 2025, Hilton will integrate Calm’s content into its proprietary Connected Room Experience technology. This will allow guests to access guided meditations, Sleep Stories, calming soundscapes, and mindfulness exercises from their in-room TV without a subscription.

The collaboration is in response to the expanding global consumer wellness market, which now stands at $1.8 trillion annually. The U.S. market has seen a 10% year-on-year growth to $480 billion, as per the McKinsey Future of Wellness Report published in November 2024. A significant focus is on sleep, with 82% of U.S. consumers prioritizing wellness, and sleep is identified as the second-highest unmet need in health and wellness.

Amanda Al-Masri, Vice President of Wellness at Hilton, stated that the partnership with Calm aims to provide guests with tools to relax, reset and feel invigorated throughout their stay. Meanwhile, Fergal Walker, Vice President of Partnerships at Calm, highlighted that integrating Calm into Hilton’s Connected Room Experience will make it easier for people to find moments of peace and restoration while traveling.

Hilton’s Connected Room technology, available in over 2,400 hotels globally, allows guests to personalize their stay experience. The integration of Calm’s offerings further enhances this experience, aligning with Hilton’s history of innovative advancements in the industry.
