Hilton has signed an agreement to open Waldorf Astoria Bali in Nusa Dua by late 2027, expanding its luxury presence in Indonesia.

Hilton has announced the signing of Waldorf Astoria Bali, a new luxury resort set to open in late 2027 in the Nusa Dua area of Bali, Indonesia. The development is in partnership with Indonesian property developer PT Balibuana Perkasa. This project marks Hilton’s continued expansion in Indonesia, where it currently operates 16 hotels and has 12 more in the pipeline.

The Waldorf Astoria Bali will be located along Sawangan Beach, providing direct access to the shoreline. The resort will feature 71 villas and 68 guest suites, offering views of the Indian Ocean. The property will feature multiple dining options, including a beach club and the Peacock Alley restaurant. The Ledge by Dave Pynt, known for its open-flame cooking, will also be part of the culinary offerings.

In addition to dining, the resort will offer wellness facilities, including a spa, fitness center, and swimming pools. For events, the Waldorf Astoria Bali will provide 748 square meters of space, including a 465-square-meter ballroom and a chapel. The resort is situated 14.5 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport and is conveniently close to attractions such as Geger Beach and the cliff fronts of Ungasan and Uluwatu.

This development is part of Hilton’s strategy to increase its luxury hotel presence in the Asia Pacific region. The company has recently surpassed 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels globally, with an additional 500 in development. Hilton plans to open additional Waldorf Astoria properties in cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Xi’an, and Hanoi over the next two years.

The Waldorf Astoria Bali will join Hilton’s existing luxury brands in Bali, which include Conrad Hotels & Resorts and LXR Hotels & Resorts.
