The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki has officially become the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Hawaii.

The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki, located at the gateway to Waikiki on the island of O’ahu, has transitioned to become the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Hawaii. This change integrates the hotel into Hilton’s global network, offering guests the benefits of Hilton’s award-winning loyalty program, Hilton Honors.

The hotel, operated by Highgate, features 368 rooms and has undergone renovations to align with the Tapestry Collection’s emphasis on unique, upscale hospitality. The property offers a variety of room types, including two-bedroom suites and lofted bunk-bed rooms, catering primarily to families and groups. The design elements reflect a tropical-inspired aesthetic, aiming to enhance the guest experience with a local touch.

Guest amenities at the Ambassador Hotel include the Waikiki Swim & Social Club, a pool and cabana area with a menu of tropical beverages and local bites. The hotel also offers a fitness center, poolside pilates classes, and beach-related rentals through Beach Candy Waikiki. The on-site dining option, Favorite Son, also provides a casual dining experience focusing on local flavors.

The hotel’s inclusion in the Tapestry Collection by Hilton allows guests to earn points through the Hilton Honors program. The program offers benefits like a flexible payment slider, exclusive member discounts, and free standard Wi-Fi. It also includes digital tools for a streamlined guest experience, such as room selection and digital check-in through the Hilton Honors mobile app.
