Hilton has announced the opening of its new Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown hotel, marking the first Canopy by Hilton property in South Dakota. The hotel is in the heart of Sioux Falls’ Steel District, an emerging cultural hub, and offers a riverfront location along the Big Sioux River.
The new establishment features 216 rooms and suites, two unique dining venues, a fitness center, and nearly 20,000 square feet of event space. Additionally, visitors have access to the brand’s signature complimentary Canopy bikes.
The hotel is located near Falls Park, Levitt Outdoor Amphitheater, museums, art galleries, and Sioux Falls Regional Airport, making it ideal for travelers. Room accommodations range from 350 to 820 square feet and offer modern amenities such as open closets, blackout curtains, a steamer, a smart mini-fridge, 55-inch HDTVs, and expansive bathrooms with sustainable bath amenities.
Box Interior Design developed the property’s interior design, which encapsulates industrial and natural influences with metalwork and abstract local art. The hotel also features a local market with unique items from local vendors.
The food and beverage offerings include the Cascata Italian Cuisine restaurant and the Torrent Coffee Bar. The hotel also has an extensive event space for meetings, weddings, and other celebrations.
The hotel is part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, which allows members to receive instant benefits. It is located at 120 E. 4th Place, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and room rates start from $219 per night.
