Hilton has opened the Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, marking its 9,000th hotel globally and the first Signia by Hilton in Texas.

Hilton has announced the opening of the Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. This development marks the first Signia by Hilton property in the state and represents Hilton’s 9,000th hotel worldwide. The resort is situated on 550 acres in the Texas Hill Country, featuring 496 rooms.

The property, owned by Ohana Real Estate Investors and managed by Hilton, has undergone a renovation exceeding $40 million. It includes nine dining venues, a spa, a golf club, five pools, and over 131,000 square feet of meeting space. The resort’s accommodations consist of 34 boutique-style villas and an adults-only floor.

The resort’s dining options feature Texas-inspired cuisine, with venues including SweetFire Kitchen and Primero Cantina. Additionally, the resort offers a range of amenities, including a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, as well as the Loma de Vida Spa & Wellness, which spans 25,000 square feet.

The meeting and event facilities include more than 28 venues, with the San Antonio Grand Ballroom and La Cantera Ballroom among the highlights. The new venue, The Calera, offers 5,100 square feet of space for weddings and events.

Located 15 miles from San Antonio International Airport, the resort offers a complimentary shuttle service to nearby attractions, including The Shops at La Cantera and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The opening of this property adds to Hilton’s presence in Texas, where the company operates nearly 80 hotels and has more than 40 in development.
