Hilton has announced plans for a new property in Palm Cove, Queensland. The new resort, Hilton Palm Cove Cairns Resort & Spa, will be Hilton’s third property in Far North Queensland. The company signed a management agreement with Tyche Asset Management to develop the 140-room resort.

The resort is 25 minutes from Cairns and 40 minutes south of Port Douglas. The new Hilton property will undergo complete refurbishment before its scheduled opening in Q1 2026. The resort will offer modern amenities such as an outdoor pool, two dining outlets, an all-day restaurant, two bars, a kids club, a fitness center, a spa, and 450 square meters of function and meeting space.

Tushar Raniga, regional director of development at Hilton Australasia, explained that the new resort aligns with Hilton’s strategy of introducing their brands to promising locations. Palm Cove has a rapidly growing tourism sector and a thriving local economy, making it an attractive location for Hilton.

This is Hilton’s fourth new hotel signing in Australasia this year, reflecting its growth strategy and commitment to expanding its global footprint. Diana Ren, owner of Hotel & Tyche Investments, expressed her enthusiasm about partnering with Hilton. She stated that the world-renowned brand will boost the local tourism market and increase Palm Cove’s national and international recognition, which will positively impact the local economy.
