In the coming weeks, Hilton is on track to open its 1,000th hotel in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This milestone highlights the company’s rapid growth and expansion in the EMEA region over recent years.
In addition to its significant milestone, Hilton is set to boost its growth trajectory by introducing new brands. The company has confirmed the launch of Tempo by Hilton, its contemporary lifestyle brand designed for modern travelers, in the EMEA region.
Recent and upcoming openings, such as Signia by Hilton Amman, Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof, and Spark by Hilton Stuttgart Sindelfingen, are contributing to Hilton’s progress towards this milestone in EMEA. In addition, the company announced an exclusive partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) last year, further expanding its portfolio of luxury hotel experiences.
Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre, Tempo by Hilton Lisbon Parque das Nações, and Tempo by Hilton Reykjavik are the brand’s first confirmed EMEA signings. The brand is designed to focus on wellbeing and caters to the ambitious, modern traveler.
Building on the recent 100 hotel milestone of Spark by Hilton, the brand is slated for further growth with the signing of Spark by Hilton Van City Centre and Spark by Hilton Madrid Alcalá, marking the brand’s debut in Turkey and Spain.

He also highlighted the company’s strong regional growth trajectory, fueled by new brand launches, upcoming openings, and strategic partnerships.
