Hilton has entered into an exclusive agreement with YOTEL, making YOTEL the first independent brand to join Hilton’s newly established Select by Hilton brand.

Hilton has signed an exclusive franchise agreement with YOTEL, allowing the independent, design-led brand to join Select by Hilton, a new brand within Hilton’s portfolio. YOTEL will continue to independently manage and license its brand at 23 hotels across 10 countries, with plans to more than triple its portfolio in the coming years.

YOTEL, launched in London in 2007, operates hotels in cities including New York, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Glasgow, and Singapore. Its properties are known for smart room designs, such as the YOTEL SmartBed, and technology-enabled features like automated luggage storage.

As the first brand to join Select by Hilton, YOTEL will retain its identity and brand management while gaining access to Hilton’s global distribution platform and the Hilton Honors loyalty program. Select by Hilton is designed to grow with high-quality, established hotel brands that maintain their own identity while benefiting from Hilton’s distribution and technology platforms.

YOTEL will remain independently managed and licensed, and the guest experience at YOTEL properties will not change as a result of the agreement. Hilton Honors members will be able to access participating YOTEL properties and use Hilton Honors loyalty program benefits once integration is complete.

The first YOTEL hotels are expected to be available for booking through Hilton channels later in 2026. Hilton Honors members who book directly through Hilton channels will have access to benefits and contactless technology in the Hilton Honors app at participating YOTEL properties once integration is complete.
