  • Hilton has signed a branding and management agreement for Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay, marking the brand’s first resort in Turks and Caicos.
  • The luxury island resort and residences, set to debut in 2028, will feature 175 guest rooms, branded residences, culinary options, a spa, fitness center, and meeting spaces.

Hilton has signed a branding and management agreement for Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay. This marks the first entrance of the luxury Waldorf Astoria brand into Turks and Caicos. The resort is set to open in 2028 will be located on Dellis Cay, a pristine, low-density island with over three miles of unspoiled beachfront.

Pablo Maturana, vice president of development for the Caribbean and Latin America at Hilton, referred to the signing as a “momentous milestone” for Hilton’s expanding luxury portfolio. The resort aims to provide bespoke experiences in a retreat that harmonizes natural beauty and tranquility with refined sophistication.

The resort will feature 175  guest rooms and branded residences. These will include 62 dedicated hotel guest rooms and suites, 10 exclusive beachfront bungalows with private terraces and plunge pools, and 65 residential units embodying refined island living.

Guests will have access to various culinary options, a 13,455-square-foot spa, a fitness center, retail spaces, a library retreat, and both adult and family pools. The resort will also offer meeting and event spaces, including a 2,690-square-foot ballroom and a 484-square-foot boardroom.

Introducing Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay is part of Hilton’s strategy to expand its presence in the Caribbean. The company plans to add 35 new properties to its portfolio of over 45 hotels and resorts in the region.

The property will join Waldorf Astoria’s portfolio in Latin America, which includes locations in Los Cabos Pedregal, Cancun, and Panama. Future openings in Costa Rica and San Miguel de Allende are also planned.
