Kempinski Hotels has announced the appointment of Hoda Tahoun as its new Chief Talent Officer, effective 14 April 2025. Tahoun will oversee the company’s global talent strategy, underscoring Kempinski’s commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier talent.
Barbara Muckermann, Chief Executive Officer of the Kempinski Group, expressed her excitement at Tahoun’s addition to the senior leadership team. She emphasized the importance of securing a competitive edge in talent acquisition and retention amid a competitive recruitment landscape.
Tahoun, who will report to Chief Human Resources Officer Karin Raguin, will lead the enhancement of executive talent strategy, recruitment, development, and organizational design. She will work with the Executive Leadership Team to optimize recruitment processes and manage staffing requirements.

She expressed confidence in Tahoun’s visionary approach to talent strategy and her ability to nurture a culture of belonging, mastery, and growth.
Tahoun has a 27-year career in talent management and human resources. She previously served as the Global Leader of the Leisure and hospitality Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, where she specialized in recruiting C-suite leaders for global hospitality, travel, and leisure companies.
Her past roles include a stint as Assistant Vice President at SHUAA Capital in Dubai, and positions at American Express, Bank of America, and Citi. Tahoun holds a BS in Finance from Rutgers University and an MBA in International Business and Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
