Penn Entertainment announced plans to open a new 203-room hotel tower at Hollywood Casino Columbus on June 12, 2026, pending customary regulatory approvals.

Penn Entertainment expects to open a new hotel tower at Hollywood Casino Columbus on June 12, 2026, pending customary regulatory approvals. The 150,000-square-foot expansion will add 203 guest rooms, including 183 standard rooms and 20 luxury suites. The property will also feature The Hill Eatery & Lounge, a full-service bar and restaurant, as well as conference rooms, a fitness center, and an outdoor seating terrace.

Room bookings for the new hotel will be available starting April 15 through the Hollywood Casino Columbus website. The project is expected to create approximately 100 new jobs on Columbus’s west side. Hollywood Casino Columbus will hold job fairs for hotel staff positions on March 27 and April 10.

Grand opening celebrations are scheduled for June 12, 2026, and will include an outdoor festival and concert.

The Columbus hotel tower is the third of Penn Entertainment’s previously announced growth projects to be completed. In 2025, Penn Entertainment opened a new land-based casino in Joliet and a new hotel tower at M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas. The company also expects to open the new Hollywood Casino Aurora in Illinois late in the second quarter of this year, and a new land-based property in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is anticipated to open in late 2027 or early 2028.
