Hotel Heron, a 134-room property in Alexandria, Va., has transitioned to Curio Collection by Hilton while remaining under Aparium management.

Hotel Heron in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton, according to an announcement from Aparium. The 134-room hotel will continue to be managed by Aparium following the transition.

The property is located at 699 Prince Street in Alexandria. It becomes the second Curio Collection property in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. The transition allows Hotel Heron to participate in the Hilton Honors loyalty program, providing guests with access to benefits such as Digital Key and flexible payment options.

Hotel Heron features three dining venues: KILN, a ground-floor restaurant; Francis Hall, a cocktail bar; and Good Fortune, a rooftop bar with views of the Potomac River. The hotel’s location in Old Town Alexandria positions it near local attractions and historic sites.

The transition to Curio Collection by Hilton is intended to expand the hotel’s reach through Hilton’s distribution and loyalty platforms. Aparium will continue to oversee the property’s daily management and operations.

No changes to the hotel’s culinary offerings or management structure were announced as part of the transition. The hotel remains open to guests and continues to operate under its existing name, now as part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

Further details regarding the transition timeline or any planned renovations were not disclosed in the announcement.
