IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with JADEER GROUP to open the 140-key Hotel Indigo Cairo New Administrative Capital in 2033.

IHG Hotels & Resorts and JADEER GROUP have signed a management agreement for the 140-key Hotel Indigo Cairo New Administrative Capital. The hotel will be located within a mixed-use development in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, east of Cairo, and is scheduled to open in 2033.

The New Administrative Capital is a smart, master-planned city featuring modern infrastructure, government and diplomatic districts, premium residential communities, and large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments. The area is connected to Cairo by major highways and planned transport networks, and includes a pipeline of cultural, retail, and lifestyle destinations.

Hotel Indigo Cairo New Administrative Capital is positioned to serve the business, governmental, and residential ecosystem of the New Capital, catering to both corporate and leisure demand. The hotel will reflect the character of its surrounding neighborhood, with locally inspired design and experiences.

The signing builds on the partnership between IHG and JADEER GROUP, following the announcement of Hotel Indigo New Cairo in September of the previous year. The project adds to IHG’s pipeline in the New Capital, which includes planned InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn hotels.

IHG currently operates nine hotels in Egypt under the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Staybridge Suites brands, with 23 additional hotels scheduled to open in the coming years.
