There’s a reason dinner and drinks is one of the most common first date ideas – it’s hard to get to know someone while sitting in rumbling theatre seats, or over the sounds of a concert. But where you go is just as important as what you do. The setting and vibe of a restaurant could make or break getting to that elusive second date.
The Globe wants to know, how do you choose what restaurant to go to on a first date? Do you tell ChatGPT what vibe you’re after and let it choose for you? Do you go to the same restaurant every time (a la Aziz Ansari in Master of None) because it simplifies things? Do you choose a place in your neighbourhood so if it’s a bust or a success it’s just a short walk home?
