Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu, the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Southwest China. The 258-room hotel is located in Chengdu’s Panchenggang District.

The Panchenggang district, where the hotel is situated, is known for its blend of traditional and modern elements. The hotel is directly connected to The Ring lifestyle mall, giving guests access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. It is also located 50 meters from Dongda Road Metro Station, offering convenient access to Chengdu East Railway Station and several city attractions, including Taikoo Li, Tianfu Square, and the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

The hotel’s design, created by Cheng Chung Design, incorporates elements reflecting the area’s industrial history and cultural vitality. The public spaces and guest accommodations feature design elements that honor the district’s past while incorporating modern amenities.

Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu offers three dining venues, including Cafe 249, which serves Sichuan dishes and Cantonese dim sum, and Dongda 333, a Chinese restaurant with private dining rooms. The hotel also includes a 24-hour fitness center on the 36th floor and five function rooms for meetings and events.

The opening of Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu is part of Hyatt’s strategy to expand its presence in key markets globally. The hotel is offering World of Hyatt members the opportunity to earn 500 Bonus Points for qualifying nights from December 12, 2025, to March 3, 2026.
