The Hyatt Hotels Corporation has expanded its brand footprint in China with the official opening of Hyatt Place Shaoxing Keqiao, a 167-room hotel in the historical district of Shaoxing, Zhejiang.
Today, the Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the official opening of Hyatt Place Shaoxing Keqiao, marking the brand’s first foray into Shaoxing, Zhejiang. This move significantly expands the corporation’s footprint in China, bolstering its presence in a burgeoning market.
Hyatt Place Shaoxing Keqiao is near key transportation hubs, including the Shaoxing Station and Shaoxing North Train Station. The hotel is also near the world’s leading textile trading center, China Light Textile City, and several renowned historical spots, such as the Keyan Scenic Area, Keqiao Ancient Town, and the Qiaobo Ice and Snow World indoor entertainment complex.
Michael Sun, General Manager of Hyatt Place Shaoxing Keqiao, highlighted the hotel’s ideal location and design, enabling guests to transition seamlessly from work to relaxation. Hyatt Place Shaoxing Keqiao offers 167 guestrooms with separate sleep, work, and play spaces and a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper. The hotel also provides a buffet breakfast featuring various local and western hot and cold breakfast items, The Market serving freshly prepared meals featuring local and Western dishes anytime, day or night, and The Bar offering specialty coffees, premium beers, wines, cocktails, and snacks.
The hotel also features a Necessities program for forgotten items that guests can buy, borrow, or enjoy for free, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and guestrooms and event spaces offering a total of 1,640 square feet (500 square meters) of flexible, high-tech meeting/function space and an outdoor courtyard.
