Hyatt Hotels Corporation Opens Its First Hyatt Centric Branded Hotel in Nepal

Hyatt Hotels Corporation and City Hotel Limited have officially launched the Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu. This transformation of Hyatt Place Kathmandu into a Hyatt Centric-branded hotel marks the first of its kind in Nepal. The new hotel is situated in the heart of Kathmandu and represents a mix of modern convenience and the city’s cultural richness.

Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is aimed at contemporary travelers looking to experience the essence of the Nepalese capital. The hotel combines updated design, vibrant artwork, excellent cuisine, and innovative experiences that encourage discovery. It also enhances the local culture through dynamic social spaces, local collaborations, and memorable experiences.

The hotel features modern upgrades designed to enhance every aspect of a guest’s stay. The lobby has been transformed into an open-concept social space that serves as a hub for exploration, complete with eclectic elements and sculptures inspired by local architecture. The hotel boasts over 8,600 square feet of flexible meeting and event spaces, accommodating 10 to 600 people.

The Centric Lounge is a lively community bar that invites locals and guests to socialize over artisanal coffees, signature cocktails, and locally inspired snacks. Dining experiences include NOON, an all-day restaurant offering globally inspired dishes with local flavors, and ZING Sky Pool Bar & Deck, a chic poolside retreat with stunning views of Kathmandu and a menu inspired by local and international influences.
