Hyatt Hotels Corporation has partnered with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in a long-term licensing agreement that will enable guests to book stays at the luxury resort via Hyatt’s booking platforms. This move, announced on December 18, 2024, will expand Hyatt’s presence in Las Vegas, a key market for the hotel company.
The agreement means that World of Hyatt members and eligible event planners will be able to earn and redeem points on qualifying stays at The Venetian Resort. They will also earn credit toward the Brand Explorer Award. For elite members of the World of Hyatt program, additional benefits will be available on-property.
Hyatt’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Vondrasek, explained that the deal would help cater to their group business customers’ increased demand for rooms in Las Vegas. This agreement will add 7,000 rooms and 2.25 million square feet of meeting space to Hyatt’s portfolio, giving Hyatt’s loyalty members and customers more venues to earn and redeem their points.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, comprising two luxury hotels – The Venetian and The Palazzo – is the only all-suite resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The resort offers a unique blend of Venetian romance and the vibrant energy of Las Vegas. Guests can enjoy gondola rides, culinary delights from renowned chefs, and world-class entertainment, including the Sphere at The Venetian.
Patrick Nichols, President and CEO of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, highlighted that the partnership with Hyatt would enable the resort to connect with new audiences. Following a $1.5 billion reinvestment, The Venetian Resort now offers reimagined suites inspired by the Venetian Carnival and award-winning dining experiences.
Shortly, the two hospitality companies will collaborate in meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions (MICE) and convention space to leverage each other’s strengths in group business. The agreement will also benefit elite members of the Venetian Rewards program within the World of Hyatt.
Further details about how The Venetian Resort will participate in the World of Hyatt program are expected to be released soon.
