Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened the Hyatt Place Cancun Airport, marking the first Hyatt Place hotel in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Cancun Airport, marking the first Hyatt Place brand location in Quintana Roo, Mexico. The hotel, which opened on November 12, 2025, is located adjacent to Cancun International Airport. This marks the sixth Hyatt Place hotel in Mexico, with additional locations planned in Merida and Piedras Negras.
The Hyatt Place Cancun Airport features 156 guestrooms and suites. Each room includes free Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and a sofa. The hotel offers a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, and nearly 1,500 square feet of event space. Guests have access to a complimentary breakfast bar and a 24-hour market offering grab-and-go items.
The hotel is strategically positioned to serve both business and leisure travelers, with proximity to local business complexes and attractions, including the Go Grand Outlet Riviera Maya and Delfines Beach. A complimentary shuttle service is available for transport to and from the airport.
The opening is part of a multi-deal collaboration between Hyatt and Parks Hospitality Holdings, with future developments planned in Cancun, Los Cabos, and Mexico City. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for November 26, 2025, to mark the opening.
World of Hyatt members can earn 500 Bonus Points for qualifying stays at the new location from November 12, 2025, to February 28, 2026.
