The Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Andaz Doha, the first of its lifestyle brand in Qatar and the fourth Hyatt brand in the city.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has recently inaugurated Andaz Doha, marking the first presence of the company’s lifestyle brand in Qatar and adding to the three existing Hyatt brands in the city. The newly opened hotel is located in the prestigious West Bay, within a 20-minute drive from Hamad International Airport, and offers its guests easy access to various city attractions.

Andaz Doha comprises 256 guest rooms, including 32 suites, four Royal suites, and 56 residences designed for long-term stays. The hotel apartments range from one to three bedrooms. The hotel also features three distinctive dining concepts. The Salt Road Doha is operational, while Mr. & Mrs. Hawker and Mumble Jungle are set to open in the coming months.

Stephen Ansell, Managing Director, Middle East and Africa, Hyatt, expressed his delight at the lifestyle brand launch in Qatar. Commenting on the opening, he noted that the property signifies an exciting milestone in expanding Hyatt’s growing brand portfolio as it becomes the third Andaz-branded property in the Middle East.

Andaz Doha embodies Qatari culture and heritage, incorporating unique luxury touchpoints. The hotel’s design was helmed by Brime Robbins, who has integrated elements of Qatar’s wealth, art contributions, and traditions into the overall aesthetics.

The hotel’s 312 rooms, suites, and residences offer a luxurious and comfortable setting for guests to enjoy the city’s vibrant attractions. The residences, which range in size from 100 to 300 square meters, are designed in tasteful hues of cream, amber, and gold and are equipped with dedicated parking spaces and resident-only elevators.

Andaz Doha’s culinary offerings draw inspiration from various global cuisine styles. The hotel’s wellness offerings include the Alara Spa, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool. The hotel also offers 1,600 square meters of meeting and event spaces, including a 750-square-meter ballroom.

The opening of Andaz Doha signifies the expansion of Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio in the region. It adds to the existing Andaz hotels across major global destinations like London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Tokyo.
