The video footage, which has been uploaded to X (formerly Twitter) shows Ice-T being pulled over by a cop while he was allegedly on his way to the DMV.

When the officer questioned the rapper about his car’s expired registration, Ice-T insisted that he was trying to take care of the situation.

“That’s why I’m trying to get this car set up. Yesterday, I went to the DMV, and they said that their system was down, so that’s where I’m headed,” Ice-T explained, but the officer wasn’t having it and instead said he would be towing the vehicle.

“You’re not gonna tow my f—king vehicle,” Ice-T fired back while insisting that he would leave the car parked and walk to the DMV, which he claimed was only steps away.

“Let me park my car right here. If I’m not under arrest then I’m getting out of the car,” he said.

The video then showed Ice-T getting out of his car and walking up to the officer while demanding, “Give me my paperwork you f—king a—hole…Get this on camera. I’m a foot away from the DMV. You are a f—king a—hole.”

As the situation grew more heated, another officer was called in. They eventually decided to give Ice-T four tickets for driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with an expired license, improper display for missing his front license plate, and not having an inspection sticker.

But fortunately for the actor, his car didn’t end up being towed.

Before walking away from the incident, the officer told Ice-T, “Next time, just show some respect, that’s all,” to which he replied, “I don’t have to.”

Parade reached out to Ice-T’s representatives, but did not immediately hear back.
