Jon Bon Jovi is widely celebrated for his contributions to and impact on the music industry, but beyond the stage and the iconic status of his namesake band, he is also gaining much-deserved recognition for his charitable efforts.
The 64-year-old frontman, who launched his passion project, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, along with his wife Dorothea Hurley in 2006, received major recognition after it was selected as a 2026 James Beard Impact Award Honoree.
The special recognition honors groups and individuals who have made a positive impact on the food industry through various areas such as community support, promoting fairness and equality as well as environmental sustainability.
Joining the JBJ Soul Foundation among the Impact Award honorees are Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), Ben Ray Luján, ReFED and Southern Smoke Foundation.
Following this impressive achievement, JBJ Soul Kitchen, the community restaurant under the music icon’s foundation, proudly announced the honor of being included in such a prestigious recognition.
