The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced a new partnership to expand the Claridges brand. Beginning in April 2025, IHCL will manage the ‘The Claridges, New Delhi’ hotel.
Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, IHCL’s managing director and CEO, stated that this partnership aligns with their growth strategy of increasing IHCL’s presence in major cities. He added that ‘The Claridges, New Delhi’ offers a unique opportunity to grow its portfolio in one of the country’s premier locations and expand the Claridges brand.
Established in 1955, ‘The Claridges, New Delhi’ is an iconic hotel known for its blend of classic elegance and modern luxury. It has 119 rooms and suites and offers many dining options. These include all-day dining at Pickwick, Cantonese cuisine at Jade, Punjabi food at Dhaba, Thai-inspired dishes at Erawaan, and Mediterranean classics at Sevilla. For cocktails, guests can visit the Elephant Bar and Aura.
Mr. Suresh Nanda, of Claridges Hotels Pvt. Ltd., expressed his excitement about expanding their partnership with IHCL, confident that under IHCL’s management, ‘The Claridges’ will continue to build on its esteemed legacy.
